The event will be held under UK Athletics rules for competition.

Entrants’ attention is drawn to the following rules and regulations:
- Runners’ numbers are not transferable under any circumstances other than with the express permission of the race office. In entering, runners undertake not to pass their number to another person if they are unable to compete on the day – this can have severe repercussions in the event of an emergency.
- All entrants must complete the medical details on the reverse of their race number.
- Once entries have been processed, entry fees cannot be refunded if entrants do not eventually take part.
- Photographs of runners will be taken on the day and may be used for promotional purposes in connection with the event. The organisers reserve the right to use such images for publicity purposes.
- No dogs, wheeled vehicles (with the exception of wheelchairs), tobacco, alcohol or other drugs are permitted.
- Entrants may not be followed or accompanied by cyclists or any person not entered into the race.
- Entrants must abide by the event rules, instructions and marshals’ directions.
- The organisers reserve the right to limit and refuse entries.
- If you are more than five minutes late for the start of the race, you will not be permitted to join.
- The organisers accept no responsibility for incomplete entry details being received.
- Entrants are eligible to receive one prize only.
- Cut off points will be based on a finishing time of 3 hours and 10 minutes (16.7 minute miles).
